Next comes a guided olive oil tasting session, hosted in the rustic charm of shady garden, or around the farmhouse table in inclement waether. Scott is a professional olive oil sommelier, and under his expert guidance, you will unlock the secrets of genuine Extra Virgin Olive Oil as you savour four distinct Italian EVOOs, including our own, of course! Learn how olive oil is classified, what separates the good, the bad and the ugly, as well as how to select quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil once you return home.
As twilight sets in, relish the cooler evening air with a delightful aperitivo featuring local snacks, sharing plates and farm to table dishes, thoughtfully paired with the olive oils you've just experienced. Quench your thirst with refreshing, complementary local wines, beer, or soft drinks.
Our 'apericena' unfolds in our shady garden, offering panoramic views of the olive grove and the picturesque Sabina countryside. And the sunset is something REALLY special here at Olive Hill.
